After reading the Hiding Place, I now realize how low my faith is. I am nothing like Betsie. She is always thanking God for everything. She is way better than me.

Bullying Survey

My Bullying Survey

In my L.A. class, we had to do a bullying Survey. Here are my results.

1.  I have been the victim if bullying (teasing, name-calling, etc.) Agreed: 1 Disagreed: 4

2. I have bullied someone during this school year. Agreed: 0 Disagreed: 5

3. I have witnessed someone else being bullied this school year. Agreed: 4 Disagreed: 1

4. What do witnesses or bystanders usually do when they see someone being bullied?

    Responses: Nothing, nothing, pretend they don't see it, nothing, and they ignore it.

5. Bullying is a problem in our school. Agreed: 1 Disagreed: 4

So, not many people have been bullied or are bullies. However, they have witnessed bullying and know what most witnesses do. And it is terrific to see that only one thinks it is a problem in my school.

First, this is my favorite color! I have now finished my tennis season, which was awesome! I either won 4 or 5 matches in singles and doubles. I have a twin sister and an awesome brother. I love biology, math and Espanol.

Why Learn About the Holocaust?

'"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."'-George Santayana, philosopher and critic.

I agree with Mr.Santayana. If we don't remember what happened during the Holocaust, when it happens again, we won't know and won't be able to fix the situation! Isn't that horrible?

Most people don't know about the Holocaust at a young age, which I think is okay. But when you get to about twelve and up, you need to know. This does happen today. There is currently a holocaust in other countries, and I didn't know about it until recently. So it can happen.
